FOR GENERAL CONTRACTORS · RIVERSIDE COUNTY

Your next project needs
the right trade partners.

We're building a local subcontractor network around the work happening in Riverside County. Tell us the trades, scope and timing you need; we'll review the fit and pursue personal introductions.

Today's trade needs. Tomorrow's growth relationships.

LOCAL RELATIONSHIPS. A REGIONAL MISSION.

Build the project. Strengthen the community.

The next vendor search should not start from scratch. We are developing local trade-business relationships around your scopes, standards and upcoming needs, with human review and follow-through.

Build America is developing a regional coalition connecting economic development leaders, government, developers, tenant representatives, general contractors, local trade businesses, unions and workforce partners across Riverside County and the Inland Empire.

Our veteran-first mission extends to regional workforce growth, training and real employment. Unions are a core pathway alongside employers and training partners.

EXPERIENCE FROM EMPOWER AMERICA

On the Westmont project in Los Angeles, Empower America, Build America's predecessor, identified, interviewed and approved 50 veterans, referred them to Laborers Local 300 for union entry and equipment, and they were placed on the Westmont project.

Local participation worth measuring.

Measurable local hiring, veteran career pathways and local business participation can support community relationships and public communications. Only actual, agreed and verified outcomes may be reported. Workforce pathways remain separate from subcontract-company bids and awards.

HOW WE WORK TOGETHER

A real need. A human review. A purposeful next step.

01.

Share scope and timing

Coordinate your trade-company needs in one request: scope, service area, timing, capacity and qualification requirements.

02.

Review possible fit

A person reviews your request and potential trade-partner readiness. We plan to clarify details by email first, rather than repeat an unfocused vendor search.

03.

Pursue the introduction

Where a relevant fit emerges, work toward a personal introduction and follow-through. Your team decides who qualifies, bids and receives an award.

TRADE PARTNERS AND WORKFORCE PATHWAYS

Subcontract the package, build your crew, or both.

Some needs go to a subcontractor business. Others go to your own self-performing crews. These are two different paths, and you can use either one or both on the same project.

FOR TRADE PACKAGES YOU SUBCONTRACT

Find the right subcontractor business

  • We review company scope, experience, service area and reported capacity against your package.
  • Where there is a fit, we pursue a purposeful business introduction and follow through.
  • Your team makes every qualification, bid-list and award decision.

FOR WORK YOUR OWN CREWS PERFORM

Build your own workforce

  • We help identify the roles and skills your crews need.
  • We develop referral pathways through employers, unions and apprenticeship programs, and training partners. Veterans come first, and the pathways extend to the wider regional workforce.
  • These pathways support hiring and training your own employees. Unions control their own admission and dispatch.

We are developing these pathways around your crew needs. In the form below, choose subcontractor trade partners, workforce pathways or both.

START WITH WHAT YOU NEED NOW

Tell us where your trade team needs support.

Your live needs are the starting point.

Starting another vendor search while coordinating scopes and schedules takes time away from the job. Share the trades, coverage and timing you need so we can review possible fit.

  • Tell us the trades, scope, timing and capacity your current work requires.
  • We review profiles and contractor requirements before pursuing an introduction.
  • You retain control of qualification, your bid list and every award.

PERMITTING & PROJECT READINESS

A shorter path through permitting for Build America partners.

As a Build America partner, we help organize outstanding permit items, coordinate agency follow-up and identify expedited-review options where your project qualifies, then line up subcontractor and workforce needs with your schedule. Agencies make permit decisions.

Request a Project Readiness Review

Scope, coverage and timing

Review trade-company fit for your scope, service area, capacity and schedule, not just a name on a list.

Purposeful follow-through

Human review, a clear reason to connect and agreed next steps when a potential fit emerges.

Beyond another vendor search

Build local trade-company relationships you can return to as project needs change.

LESS SEARCHING. CLEARER REQUIREMENTS.

Keep the trade search tied to the job.

A company can know its trade and still be the wrong fit for your scope or schedule. Build America starts with your requirements, then reviews possible trade-company fit before pursuing an introduction.

Tell Us What You Need
  • Coordinate trades, scope, coverage and timing in one clear request.
  • Share upcoming needs before they become urgent.
  • Review potential trade partners against capacity and your qualification requirements.
  • Pursue purposeful introductions with follow-through; your team controls qualification and awards.

TOMORROW'S GROWTH

More than your next trade need.

Alongside today's needs, we are developing business-growth relationships for GCs, including developments where a general contractor has not yet been selected.

Build the relationship before the next opportunity.

Share upcoming requirements early and help shape relevant local connections. Workforce goals can include union, employer and training pathways; worker placements are distinct from subcontract-company bids.

STRAIGHT ANSWERS

You stay in control.

Can I share a need for work happening now?

Yes. Submit your current trades, scope and timing. We will review the request and pursue potential introductions where a fit emerges. There is no availability or turnaround guarantee.

Who qualifies the subcontractor?

Human review comes before any introduction. Your team sets its standards, reviews credentials and capacity, and controls its bid list and contract awards. Signup is not automatic qualification.

Are subcontractor introductions the same as worker supply?

No. A subcontractor request concerns a trade business bidding and delivering a scope. Union, employer and training pathways concern workforce development. Neither guarantees company availability, worker supply or an award.

Is the future coalition pipeline already secured?

No. The coalition, local network and regional relationships are being built. Future opportunities, GC selection and bid access are not promised.

What happens after I submit?

Your request or enquiry stays private and awaits review. We plan to follow up by email first. Calls happen only when useful and agreed; submitting does not send an automatic email or enroll you in outreach.
